About Philip Glass
During the two-year period in which he worked and studied in Paris, Phillip Glass met and worked with sitar player Ravi Shankar, who introduced him to Indian music. Eventually, Phillip Glass even converted to Buddhism. He later spoke of how greatly his 1966 visit to Tibet influenced his thinking.
